The Executive Committee of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VFV) has amended the decision of the disciplinary commission to disqualify the captain of Dynamo Moscow Natalia Goncharova for a warning.
In May, Goncharova was disqualified from a match in the Russian championship and given a six-month suspended sentence for unsportsmanlike behavior. A second meeting of the VFV disciplinary commission was held on July 26 with the participation of Dynamo general director Vladimir Zinichev and Goncharova, the commission confirmed the sanctions against the Dynamo volleyball player. The VFV did not conduct any proceedings against Karakurt.
— The VFW Executive Committee has decided:

2. Explain to all participants in the volleyball community that if such disciplinary infractions are committed in the future, stricter sanctions may be applied to them, including disqualification.indicates the minutes of the WFW Executive Committee meeting.
