Russian swimmer Vladimir Danilenko won a silver medal in the 100-meter backstroke (S2) at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
Danilenko covered the distance in 2 minutes 1.34 seconds. Vladimir brought Russia its first medal at the 2024 Games.
The victory in the 100m backstroke was taken by the Brazilian Gabriel dos Santos Araujo (1:53.67), with the leading trio completed by the Chilean Alberto Abarza (2:01.97).
