Russian swimmer Vladimir Danilenko won silver in the 50m backstroke at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris.
In the final race, Danilenko, competing in the S2 class, finished with a time of 57.54 seconds. Brazilian Gabriel Araujo won gold in 50.93. Chilean Alberto Abarza came in third with 58.12.

Danilenko became a two-time silver medalist at the 2024 Paralympic Games; earlier, the Russian took second place in the 100-meter backstroke.
The Paralympic Games in the French capital will end on September 8.
