Kemerovo “Kuzbass” defeated Novy Urengoy “Fakel-Yamal” in the final match of the second round of the group stage of the Volleyball Legends Cup.
The Group A match took place in Novosibirsk and ended with a score of 3:2 (20:25, 25:22, 25:18, 21:25, 15:8) in favor of the Kemerovo team.
“Kuzbass” with 10 points takes the second place in the quartet, “Fakel-Yamal” (2) closes the table. The quartet also includes Zenit Kazan, which previously guaranteed access to the final part of the tournament, and Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.
The teams finishing top two in their group will play in the Final Four. The prize fund of the Legends Cup is 10 million rubles; the tournament is part of the Russian Cup and will end in October.
