Russian Butkova says Paralympic silver medal is most important thing in her life

Russian swimmer Natalia Butkova told that winning silver at the Paris Paralympic Games was the most important award of her life.

On Sunday at the 2024 Games, the athlete took second place in the final heat of the 150-meter medley (SM4 class).

— This medal is probably like gold. The opponents were new; they were not present at the World Championships.

— Is this the most important medal of your life?

– Well, yes, at this distance – yes. At the Tokyo Games I was third at this distance, now I am second, – Butkova said on the air of the program “Everyone for the match!”

The Paralympic Games in the French capital will end on September 8.
