Dmitry Mikhailenko’s team will be based in the Zurich suburb of Regensdorf, and will play friendly matches on September 6 and 9 against local peers.
The Ukrainian youth team is preparing for the Euro 2025 (U-19) qualification. According to the results of the draw for the first stage of the competition, Ukraine ended up in Group 1 together with the Netherlands, Slovenia and Kazakhstan. The mini-tournament will be held in the Netherlands, and the matches will take place on November 13, 16 and 19.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian U-19 team, led by Dmytro Mykhailenko, took part in the 2024 European Youth Championship in July, where they reached the semi-finals.
