Coach Sergey “lmbt” Bezhanov officially leaves Monte

He led the organization to the quarterfinals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023

Ukrainian eSports organization Monte announced the end of cooperation with the coach of the team Counter-Strike 2 Sergey “lmbt” Bezhanov.

“Today, our legendary coach, Sergey “LMBT” Bezhanov, leaves our team. We thank him for incredible moments and his huge contribution to the history of Monte. Forever part of the #MonteGang,” the organization said in a statement.

Bezhanov became Monte’s coach in January 2023. Together with lmbt, the Ukrainian organization played in a CS:GO major for the first time in its history, reaching the quarterfinals of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Monte also took 3rd-4th place in ESL Pro League Season 18, won ESL Challenger Jönköping and a number of other tournaments.

After lmbt left, only one Ukrainian remained in Monte’s roster – Sergey “DemQQ” Demchenko. The team’s roster also includes five representatives of Poland (four players and a coach).

Let us recall that at the beginning of July, one of the founders of the organization, Vladimir “Woro2k” Veletnyuk, left Monte.

In August, Monte’s Counter-Strike 2 roster failed to qualify for the RMR tournament for Shanghai Major 2024.

Monte Esports roster:

  • Sergey “DemQQ” Demchenko (Ukraine)
  • Szymon “kRaSnaL” Mrozek (Poland)
  • Olek “hades” Miskiewicz (Poland)
  • Pavel “dycha” Dycha (Poland)
  • Kamil “KEi” Pietkun (Poland)
  • Piotr “nawrot” Nawrocki, assistant coach (Poland)
