BC Zaporozhye parted ways with his captain Alexander Sizov.
The 36-year-old forward has played for the Zaporizhia club since the 2020/21 season. In that Super League draw, Sizov won silver medals with the team.
Last season, Alexander played 24 games in the regular championship, averaging 13 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists. His efficiency rating was 14.7. Sizov was unable to help the team in the playoffs due to injury.
Earlier, BC Zaporizhzhya signed American Sivon Traylor. Also, Serafim Novikov, Vladislav Nikolaychuk, Sergey Skira and Alexander Petrenko joined Valeriy Plekhanov’s team.
BC Zaporizhzhya took fifth place in the regular championship of the FAVBET Super League-2023/24. In the playoffs, Valeriy Plekhanov’s team lost to Cherkasy Monkeys in the quarterfinals.
