Ukrainian tennis player Ludmila Kichenok And Elena Ostapenko from Latvia easily reached the final of the doubles US Open 2024.
The Ukrainian and Latvian took care of the tenth seeds Zhang Haoqing / Veronika Kudermetova (Chinese Taipei / -) in the semifinals. The match lasted a little over an hour, and during the entire duel, Kichenok and Ostapenko allowed their opponents to win only three games.
In the final, the Ukrainian and Latvian will play against the winner of the match Kateryna Siniakova / Taylor Townsend (Czech Republic / USA) – Kristina Mladenovic / Shuai Zhang (France / China). The decisive match of the women’s doubles tournament will be held on September 6.
