Mother of figure skater Parsegova: “The price of the child’s psychological state is much higher than the sums involved in the trial”

Natalya Parsegova, the mother of figure skater Arina Parsegova, has told the details of the lawsuit filed against Plushenko’s Angels Academy.

On Monday, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow considered the complaint of the Plushenko Angels Academy against representatives of 12-year-old figure skater Parsegova and decided to recover 1.8 million rubles from the defendant.

— I think it is necessary to set the record straight on some important points: never during Arina’s entire career at Plushenko’s Angels Academy did I contact the coaches with a request to study quadruple jumps (in general, I never get involved in the training process), Arina did not study them there, and neither did I. It was not at all upsetting.

The contract was not concluded for one year, but for 8 years. To be precise, until April 30, 2030.

From the time of my husband’s diagnosis to the day of his death, 9 months have passed, we signed the contract in the middle of this period. Negotiations were held with the lawyer of the Plushenko Academy of Angels about the impossibility of signing an agreement due to the difficult situation in the family. At the same time, I note my forced retirement from sports, which was followed by long persuasion on the part of Rudkovskaya, Davydova and the lawyer of the academy (all correspondence was provided in the case materials). In the end, we signed the agreement not out of stupidity, but out of despair! This happens in the state we were in.

Evgeniy Viktorovich (Plyushchenko), speaking about his love for Arina, was a little confused about the dates. Plushenko’s Academy of Angels filed a complaint against me a year before the filming of my interview; until that moment, I did not comment on the situation.

It’s a matter of ingratitude – it’s not true! During the debate, the lawyers read my message to Rudkovskaya with gratitude; the media don’t let me lie. The problem is only where we moved, period!

Arina did not skate during the entire training period “for free”. For more than a year and a half, we paid for the training ourselves, did not attend additional courses and did not live on the territory, the amount of the claim was formed for 9 months of payment of Arina’s expenses by Ekaterina Davydova , and the exploitation of me and my child from 9 am to 9 pm on the set, with a certain frequency , not such a “gift”, people, as a rule, receive money for this, exactly the same as for advertising on social networks, which the lawyer asked me to do (correspondence in the case).

The price of my child’s psychological state, which we are still gradually restoring after leaving Plushenko’s Academy of Angels in “ideal” conditions for us, is much higher than all the amounts involved in the case! It’s a pity that they are not filing a complaint for this,” the woman wrote on social networks.

In 2023, Parsegova left the academy Evgenia Plushenko and began working with Honored Coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze. In June, Plushenko Angels Academy co-owner Yana Rudkovskaya told that she would sue the figure skater’s parents over her departure.
