Olympic silver medalist Alexandra Trousova officially changed her last name after marrying figure skater Makar Ignatov, according to the Federal Tax Service (FTS) website.
The wedding of 20-year-old Trusova and 24-year-old Ignatova took place on August 17. Since September 3, the skater has been registered with the Federal Tax Service under the name Ignatova.
Earlier, Trusova announced that she plans to perform at the Russian national team skating tests in September. She last participated in tournaments in 2022 and missed the 2023/24 season altogether.
