Athletistic/Paralympics. Russian track and field athletes Dmitry Safronov and Artyom Kalashyan won silver and bronze medals in the 200 meters at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
Safronov finished second in the T35 category final with a time of 23.78 seconds, while Kalashyan finished third with the same result. The gold medal was won by Ukraine’s Igor Tsvetov, who clocked 23.19 seconds.
In the women’s 400m T13 final, Russia’s Maria Ulianenko finished eighth in 58.96 seconds, 5.41 seconds behind Brazilian winner Ryan Soares da Silva.
