The Ukrainian U-20 men’s volleyball team lost to the Czech Republic in the match for 3rd place at the 2024 European Youth Championship

The blue-yellows ended the continental championship on a minor note, and the championship title will be contested between teams from France and Bulgaria

Male Ukraine U-20 Volleyball Team finished performing at Youth Euro 2024 defeat to the Czech Republic in the match for third place – 1:3.

The blue-yellows managed to win the first set, which was an equal and fierce struggle. In the second set, the Czechs were constantly leading with a comfortable margin, but in the end, Ukraine stepped up and tied the score. However, the ending was in favor of the opponent – 25:23.

In the third set, the Czech team gradually increased its advantage and eventually achieved a solid handicap of +10. There was no particular fight in the fourth set either, although the Ukrainians had a strong finish.

Let us recall that yesterday Vladimir Romantsov’s team lost to their peers from Bulgaria in the semi-finals (0:3). Before that, Ukraine won 5 out of 7 matches in the group stage, only letting the French team get ahead of it.

The final of the European U-20 Championship between the teams of France and Bulgaria will take place today, starting at 19:00 Kyiv time.
