The athlete took second place in the 200-meter single kayak race in the KL1 class
Ukrainian sportswoman Marina Mazula conquered silver in rowing single kayaks for 200 meters in class KL1 on Paralympics 2024.
The Ukrainian advanced to the final after winning her first run. In the final, Marina lost to the champion Katerinn Wollermann from Chile by less than a second. Third place went to Edina Müller from Germany.
For Mazula, this is the second medal in her career at the Paralympics. Previously, the Ukrainian won silver in this race in 2021 in Tokyo.
Ukraine won its 80th medal at the 2024 Paralympics. The blue-yellows have 21 gold medals.
The 2024 Paralympics are taking place in Paris from August 28 to September 8. The Ukrainian team is represented at the Games by 140 athletes. Ukrainians will compete in 17 of the 22 Paralympic sports – this is a record in the history of our country.
