World Boxing Champion Talks About His Attitude Towards Money
WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC heavyweight title holder Alexander Usik (22-0, 14 KO) spoke about his attitude to money.
“It’s good when you have money. Some people are afraid of big money because they don’t know how to work with it, but they have to work. It’s a resource that improves your life. It’s not your whole life, and you can live without money too. It will be harder, but you can live. I also know how to live without money. I lived without money, but you have to work.”
“You know what’s most important? We shouldn’t complain about life, that everything is hard for us. If anyone just starts complaining about life, that’s it, goodbye. You won’t grow, you’ll go down.”
On the night of May 19, Usyk inflicted the first defeat of Tyson Fury’s professional career in a fight that took place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The victory was awarded to the Ukrainian by a split decision of the judges: 115-112, 113-114 and 114-113.
Usyk and Fury have reached an agreement for a rematch. The “Gypsy King” has officially activated the rematch option. The second fight between Alexander and Tyson will take place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said he will seek the introduction of video replays in this fight.
