Second defeat of Rebrov’s team in the 2024/25 Nations League
National team Ukraine played with the team in Prague Czech Republic in the second round match of Division B League of Nations. The match ended with a defeat for Sergei Rebrov’s team with a score of 2:3.
The Czech team took the lead midway through the first half through Pavel Schulz. In the 37th minute, Vladislav Vanat equalized the score, scoring his debut goal for the Ukrainian team.
However, the teams went into the break with the Czech Republic having a minimal advantage. In the 45+2nd minute, Schulz scored a double. Towards the end of the match, the teams exchanged goals from Tomas Soucek and Georgi Sudakov.
Ukraine lost its second match in the 2024/25 Nations League. The Czech Republic redeemed itself for its away defeat against Georgia (1:4).
Ukraine will play its next match on October 11 against Georgia. The meeting will be nominally “home” for Serhiy Rebrov’s team.
