Brentford with Yarmolyuk confidently beat Leyton Orient in the League Cup

The hero of the match was Portuguese Carvalho, who scored a goal and made two assists

Brentford reached the 1/8 finals English League Cup thanks to a home win over Leyton Orient — 3:1.

The Bees unexpectedly conceded first – Brandon Cooper scored in the 11th minute. But the hosts quickly equalized thanks to a precise strike from winger Fabio Carvalho.

The Portuguese ended up making the whole game – in the second half of the first half he made two assists, to the Danes Mikkel Damsgaard and Christian Nørgaard.

Having gained a significant advantage, Brentford played according to the score after the break, and in the middle of the second half the visitors were left with ten men, and the game finally lost its meaning.

Ukrainian midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk played the entire match for Brentford. He received an average rating and did not score. The Ukrainian has played without substitutions in the League Cup for the second time in a row, but in the Premier League he is a strictly reserve player – only 6 minutes this season.

The Bees’ next match is away against Tottenham on September 21.
