Group coach Mishina assessed students’ readiness for the season

These days, Mishin’s group is training in France, where he arrived on August 2. The skaters held their first off-season training camp in Kislovodsk.

“Now I am in St. Petersburg. We work with Tatyana Nikolaevna Mishina with the younger group. in Courchevel with Liza Tuktamysheva , Micha Kolyada , Zhenya Semenenko and Gleb Lutfulline Alexey Nikolaevich and choreographer Tatyana Nikolaevna (Prokofieva). The collection will be finished in three or four days.

– How do you assess the form of the athletes?

– Probably, in mid-August it is too early to talk about any form. The first performance of the guys is expected in mid-September during the skate tests. But the guys are well prepared, the quads are jumping, someone is learning something new.

– Have all the skaters received programs? When will the public see the performances?

— Yes, all the programs have been set. I can say that Misha Kolyada left the old short program and a new free program was created. Even today, they are giving it a try in front of the local public in Courchevel.

– In Kislovodsk, did you and Liza Tuktamysheva jump on a quadruple lutz on a fishing rod? Does it run the item on its own?

– Without a fishing rod, Lisa Lutz has yet to attempt to perform. He learns other quadruple elements, something even works, but it is too early to talk about the inclusion of elements in the program.

– Will we see a quad made by Tuktamysheva in the coming season?

– I would love for Lisa to be able to do a quadruple jump in the program next season. We will do our best for that.

The Russian national team test skates will take place on September 24-25 in Moscow.
