Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Russian figure skater Elizaveta Nugumanova has joined ice dance coach Elena Sokolova’s group.
“Nugumanova asked to ride with us. Elizaveta remains a single skater, she won’t change her appearance. Everything was decided quickly on Wednesday,” Sokolova said.
Earlier, Nugumanova said that coach Evgeny Rukavitsyn and other members of the coaching group insulted her, saying that the skater, in their opinion, was overweight. Rukavitsyn, like Elena Sokolova, in whose group Elizaveta will now train, works at the St. Petersburg Figure Skating Academy.
