Luhansk suffered their second defeat in a row – the previous round they lost to Dynamo (0:2)
Trainer Zari Mladen Bartulovich commented on the away defeat from Kolosa (0:1) in the 7th round UPL.
“Of course, we were only focused on winning. We need to solve the tasks set. We really needed the victory. We are disappointed with this result and the game. We made a lot of mistakes. The opponent punished us for this. We knew that Kolos plays well on counterattacks. They play beautifully in defense, they are organized.”
“They are at the bottom of the table, but they have conceded few goals. That’s why it was difficult. Today we couldn’t do a lot of things. We do the work in a weekly cycle. We work on certain things to improve. We need to continue working on them, to correct the situation. We want more aggressive play from the players, to play as number one. Sometimes they are too aggressive in training, there are emotions, but for some reason this doesn’t carry over to the game.”
For Zarya, the defeat to Kolos was the second in a row – the round before, it lost to Dynamo (0:2).
Mladen Bartulovic’s team is in 9th place in the standings, with nine points to its credit.
In the next round of the UPL, Luhansk will host Vorskla at home on September 30.
