Figure skater Alena Kostornaya told that she had a cold.
Kostornaya posted a photo on social media on Wednesday from a hospital bed.
“I am very ill, I have a cold,” Kostornaya told .
Last season, Kostornaya and her husband Georgy Kounitsa took ninth place at the Russian Pair Skating Championships. Alena is the 2020 European champion in single skating; she has been competing in pairs since 2023.
