Arum: The best option for Dubois is to meet the winner of the Usyk-Fury fight

Arum believes there will be no rematch between Dubois and Joshua

Promoter Bob Arum denied Eddie Hearn’s words about holding a rematch between the former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) and IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

“There will be no revenge. It’s just Eddie Hearn being delusional. There was no rematch clause in their contract. Dubois signed a two-fight contract with the Saudis.”

“I really think the best option for Dubois is to face the winner of the Usyk-Fury fight. I think this is the path he will take.”

Dubois defeated Joshua in a fight that took place in London on Saturday, September 21. Daniel knocked down AJ three times and knocked out his opponent in the fifth round. Dubois defended the IBF title, which he received after Oleksandr Usyk abandoned it.

The Joshua-Dubois fight set a new record for the largest number of spectators in the 21st century for a boxing match. The boxing evening at Wembley Stadium in London was attended by 98,128 people.
