The International Ski Federation (FIS) has extended the suspension of Russian athletes from participation in tournaments under its auspices for the coming season, reports the Swedish publication Expressen.
Media reports note that the decision was announced on Friday at an FIS meeting in Switzerland.
“There was no discussion or anything like that.” “We were simply informed that there would be no changes to this in the coming season,” Swedish national team coach Lars Oberg said.
Russian skiers have been banned from international competitions since 2022.
