American cyclist Nash banned for life for doping

American cyclist Jackson Nash has been banned for life for doping. On this subject reported United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

The athlete was found guilty of seven counts, including the use and attempted use of illegal drugs – anastrozole, oxandrolone, clenbuterol and testosterone.

Additionally, the investigation revealed that Nash, 31, persuaded other athletes to use banned substances and attempted to sell them.

“This is another case that demonstrates the power of investigations in the common fight to protect sport and the rights of athletes. As always, we will thoroughly investigate and take action based on evidence of doping violations and appreciate the assistance of those who stand up for clean sport,” said USADA CEO Travis Tygart.

Nash’s lifetime ban began on June 30, 2022, when his provisional suspension was imposed. Additionally, Nash’s contest results from and after December 15, 2021, when evidence of his possession of banned substances was collected, were voided.
