The Ukrainian women’s handball team lost to Poland in the second control match

The first control game between the teams took place yesterday, ending with the victory of the Polish handball players with a score of 35:33

Ukrainian women’s handball team played the second test match with Polandsuffering a final defeat with a score of 18:26.

At the same time, Boris Chizhov’s team can definitely count the first half as an asset – they went into the break leading the score 12:11.

The second half passed under the absolute dictation of the Polish handball players. The Ukrainian team scored only six goals after the break, allowing their opponents to win a landslide victory.

The most productive player for Ukraine was Vanessa Lakatos, who scored 5 goals. Nadezhda Poymanova scored 3 goals.

Yesterday the teams played their first control match, which ended with Poland’s victory over Ukraine with a score of 35:33.

Let us remind you that the Ukrainian women’s team will play in the final part of the European Championship 2024. The Ukrainians’ rivals will be the Netherlands, Germany and Iceland. The tournament will take place from November 28 to December 15.
