– The inspection visit of the General Director of the Russian Figure Skating Federation aimed to check on the spot the readiness of the arenas for the championship. As you know, two arenas will be involved in the competition: the performances themselves will take place at Platinum Arena, and the practice sessions will take place at Kristall Palace. As a result, Alexander Ilyich set himself the task of walking through all the premises with his feet, looking at the logistics routes, changing rooms. We also discussed the issue of retrofitting arena interiors from a hockey version to a figure version. Because all these points should be found in the specifications of the Russian championship.

This was perhaps the decisive factor in determining the organizer of the Russian championship: Krasnoyarsk is clear for FFKKR, the arena is familiar and we understand the requirements of such tournaments.
