On the occasion of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, the Department of Youth and Sports Affairs of the Desnyansk Regional State Administration with the support Favbet Foundation and other partners held a ceremony to award the best athletes based on their performances at all-Ukrainian and international competitions in the 2023-2024 academic year.
The success of every athlete is the result of persistent daily work in training, intense emotional and physical challenges, and the support they receive from parents and coaches.
Thanks to the dedication of young athletes and the professionalism of their mentors, our athletes achieve significant results and receive recognition in sports arenas.
“This year we awarded the winners and prize-winners of world, European and all-Ukrainian competitions who train in municipal sports schools and clubs in the Desnyansky district. We want the young men and their coaches to feel supported, so we thank our partners Favbet Foundation for their care. Play sports, love sports, because it makes us healthy, strong and happy“, – Head of the Department of Youth and Sports Affairs of the Desnyansk Regional State Administration Kirill Boyko.
In total, about 90 talented young athletes and their coaches were awarded during the ceremony. Among the awarded were pupils of the Integrated Youth Sports School No. 14, Youth Sports School No. 23, Youth Sports School No. 18 and the Desnyansky CFON “Sport for All”. Special mention was given to the football team born in 2010 of the Complex Youth Sports School No. 14, as well as participants in competitions in football, judo, boxing, taekwondo, chess and volleyball.
