The president of the All-Russian Swimming Federation (ARSF), Vladimir Salnikov, announced to on Tuesday his intention to create a united federation. The new united federation will include the FSM, the Russian Diving Federation, the Russian Water Polo Federation and the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation.
— We are putting the sports management system in order. Aquatic species have taken over the initiative in gymnastics, the conference will take place within a month. It will be one of the most powerful federations. The vertical model will be strengthened, mass participation will increase, swimming will be able to take first place in the country,” reports correspondent, according to Degtyarev’s words.
