“Representatives of the FC Shakhtar Academy held a conversation with the player in Dusseldorf and will take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. The club has always supported the principles of mutual respect and sports ethics, therefore such incidents do not correspond to the values of FC Shakhtar.”
Let us recall that Strilchuk allowed himself unflattering statements about the Zhytomyr club in a video that was posted on the Tik-Tok social network. Today Polesie turned to Shakhtar, demanding to take action against the footballer.
17-year-old Strilchuk began playing for the Shakhtar U-19 team this season. The defender took part in two matches of the Miners in the UPL youth championship.
Shakhtar U-19, together with their peers from Dynamo, have 22 points each – the clubs share the leadership among themselves in the UPL youth championship standings. Polissya U-19 has 16 points in its asset – the Zhytomyr club is in 4th place in the table.
