Figure skater Vladislav Dikidji said he has not yet recovered 100% from his cold.
On Friday, Dikidji scored 98.53 points for his short program at the Panin-Kolomenkin Memorial Tournament in St. Petersburg.
Earlier, the skater’s coach Oleg Tataurov told that Dikidzhi would miss the Russian national team’s skating tests in St. Petersburg due to a cold.
— Your emotions after skating?
– Amazing! I liked it. I really missed the competitions, I missed this drive.
– What percentage are you satisfied with?
“The only thing that confused me was the lutz, touching with one or two hands. They gave me track four and I was very surprised. The only fault is the Lutz.
— Are you satisfied with the second note? Progress is noticeable.
“If it’s visible, then it’s very cool.” I am still finalizing the second assessment. But it still doesn’t happen like it does in training. Perhaps because it’s the first start, the warm-up is short.
– How is your health now? Have you managed to get back into shape?
— I’m probably 80 percent ready. After my illness, I went out on the ice, I was very tormented by a cough and had snot. Because of this, it was difficult to breathe and skate the short program. All that’s left is the cough. Everything else is fine.
— How does it feel to start the season with a tournament where the competition is so serious?
– Incredibly cool! — a correspondent reports Dikiji’s comments.
Dikidzhi is a silver medalist at the Russian Championship, winner of two stages of the country’s Grand Prix.
