About the best personalities and main figures of the tour – here.
INratar – Ilya Olkhovoy (Niva)
Niva had competition and a rotation of goalkeepers, so Olkhova, even against the powerful Epicenter, which had scored 12 goals in 4 home matches played before, had to play at a high level. Ilya took five shots on target – from Bezhenar, S. Kristin, Kravchuk and Lipovuz. He conceded only when a breakdown in the defense allowed Bender to fall right on top of him and score from close range. Even so, an away draw is a good result for Virt’s team. The powerful ex-goalkeeper of Shakhtar and the Ukrainian national team can positively evaluate the work of his ward.
- Best in Group B: Daniil Varakuta (Metalist 1925)
PrFirst defender – Ivan Gavrushko (Agribusiness)
Gavrushko is having a very strong month. So in the match with Metalist, who had previously won several matches in a row, Ivan coped with his tasks in defense and regularly supported the attack. The legacy of this defender includes about a dozen won combats, including completely winning the air. He made a number of rebounds, tackles and interceptions, which was very important against the hosts’ high-speed, proactive flanks. Finally, he shot at the goal twice, and at one point he repeated his approach to the goalkeeper, as in the match with Epicenter (this time he missed).
- Best in Group B: Evgeniy Pasich (Metalist 1925)
Tsecentral defender – Nikita Bezugly (Bukovina)
A goalless draw on their own field with a team that has not won three rounds in a row, and even on the eve of City Day, is not the best result for Bukovyna. However, Kriventsov has a player against whom he has fewer complaints – defender Bezugly played very strongly. He made a lot of steals and rebounds, was unyielding in the fight and made almost no mistakes in passes. Only once can I remember when, after his mistake, the guests shot on goal. And vice versa, in the second half, Nikita truly saved the Chernivtsi team when he took Barchuk’s shot at the goalkeeper’s corner.
- Best in Group B: Artem Terekhov (FSK Mariupol)
Tsecentral defender – Ernest Romanchuk (Dinaz)
For the second match in a row and the third of the season, Dinaz did not concede a goal, although Victoria, after unexpectedly losing points in the rescheduled match 10 days ago, was not going to play a draw again. However, in the nominally away match, the Voloshin-Romanchuk pairing played well overall, and Ernest, who had already been rotated in the new team, deserves special mention. He worked diligently against the Sumy attack and at one point prevented the best goal of the season from happening, when he headed the ball away after an accurate overhead kick from ex-Vyshgorod Palamar.
- Best in Group A: Valery Boldenkov (Prykarpattya)
Lefirst defender – Oleg Len (Agribusiness)
Before the start of the match against Metalist in Uzhgorod, Agribusiness was forced to make a substitution: Lenya covered Plum on the left in defense. And who would have thought that he would not only cope against the active Lutsiv, Sinchuk and Kaidalov, but also achieve great, decisive success ahead. It was Oleg who reacted at the moment when, after a free kick in Voytikhovsky’s struggle with an opponent, the ball bounced to the far post, and then shot past the goalkeeper with his left foot. This goal from Lenya brought Agribusiness their eighth victory in the current championship.
- Best in Group A: Andrey Dedyaev (YUKSA)
Tsecentral midfielder – Maxim Soloviev (Prykarpattya)
For the Ivano-Frankivsk team, the confrontation in the center of the field was one of the main challenges in Chernivtsi – because Bukovina has a very strong selection of players, and especially in midfield. In fact, the center of the field with Genik, Buchakchiysky and Solovyov most of all opposed Koltsov and was not always successful in this fight. However, Maxim is worth noting: he won most of his duels, intercepted or picked up a lot of balls, especially in his zone – in the center of the field. Actively helped Radulsky with his shifts closer to the flank. He worked in such a way that it was difficult for the hosts to take the ball away from him without fouling, but he didn’t foul himself (which is very important, considering how many of Kriventsov’s players can play set pieces).
- Best in Group B: Andrey Bogdanov (FSK Mariupol)
Prav midfielder – Ari Moura (Metalist 1925)
While the technical “Brazilian Yarmolenko” was not in the game due to injury, it became especially clear how much he means to the modern Metalist 1925. Coming into the starting lineup for the first time after the hospital, Ari made a qualitative difference on his flank in terms of the sharpness of his actions. Probably no other football player in the current First League has such sophisticated technique, dribbling and beating an opponent from the spot. It is not surprising that it was Moura who supported his team’s counterattack, after Sidorov’s pass he squeezed through the right edge and opened the scoring with a shot on target. This goal would have been a contender for the title of the best of the tour, if not for further events at the beginning of the second round.
- Best in Group A: Stanislav Kristin (Epicenter)
Atattacking midfielder – Andrey Storchous (FC Kudrovka)
Last season, Storchous played under Chirikal for Druzhba and became the champion of the Second League. Now he scored against a team where half a dozen of his ex-teammates played. Already in the opening, Andrey closed Litovchenko’s space. He did not switch off from the game and was an active participant in the fast multi-move moves of Baranov’s team. It was he who gave one of the attacks an unexpected development, going across the field and giving an assist to Korkishko. Storchous’s contribution to this festival victory of the Kudrovites can be called significant.
- Best in Group A: Maxim Soloviev (Prykarpattya)
Atattacking midfielder – Dmitry Penteleychuk (FSK Mariupol)
FSK Mariupol took four points out of six awarded in the matches with Metalist 1925 – this is a significant advantage in personal meetings, which may affect when the points are counted to determine the final position after the first round and in the final table. And in the away match against the Kharkov team, Penteleychuk played especially strongly, who covered significant areas under I. Zubkov, did a lot of work and rushed in efficiently at the second pace and at the forefront of the attack. It was Dmitry who blocked Baidal’s cross and saved the guests from defeat, and sent another shot wide of the goal.
- Best in Group A: Bogdan Kozak (Nyva Ternopil)
Lefirst midfielder – Dmitry Korkishko (FC Kudrovka)
Korkishko earned the love of FC Kudrovka fans with his technical and sharp play. However, the match against YUKSA will make the Dynamo graduate and former team member a cult figure in the history of the young club. Dmitry doubled the guests’ lead with a brilliant shot into the top corner (see the “Tour Goal” nomination), and later converted the penalty earned by Potimkov. The 2009 European Youth Champion looked fresh and cheerful, beat his opponents with ease, and caused a lot of difficulties for his opponents on his flank.
- Best in Group A: Daniil Volkov (Agribusiness)
Onfalling – Vadim Sidun (Niva Ternopil)
Lately, Niva has had permanent problems with the attack: Riznyk missed several rounds due to injuries, and the disqualified Galadei could not help on the difficult trip to Kamenets-Podolsky. We would add to this match – and the youth, led by Sidun, invited from Carpathians-2, does not live up to expectations. But in the match against Epicenter, Vadim showed his best game in the new team. Playing to the right of Riznyk, he played well in space and combined. It opened well. It was the 19-year-old striker who perfectly understood Kozak’s plan and implemented an exit to the goalkeeper after his cutting pass, and then once again shot at Bilyk’s goal. Without this goal and Vadim’s contribution, it would be difficult to count on points on this trip, because Epicenter has not lost points at home since last season.
- Best in Group B: Artem Legostaev (FC Kudrovka)

In the history of confrontations between the two clubs, FC Kudrovka had previously invariably lost to YuKSA – both in the Second League and after merging with Niva (Buzovaya) and being promoted in class and cup. However, this time, when the crusaders celebrated the birthday of the club academy and could have caught up with SK Poltava on points and led the group in additional indicators, FC Kudrovka gave them a good trip up. In one of the most productive matches of the season (next to the canceled Epicenter – FC Khust – 5:2, where seven goals were also recorded), the guests from Kudrovsk showed strong-willed qualities, showed home preparation and successful use of set pieces, and Baranov also made good substitutions. The victory over YUKSA brought Kudrovka to third place.
- Analysis from the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches – Here.

The 22-year-old striker, who went through the school of Zarya and the Carpathians, generally does not play that much – in nine matches in the championship he played only 310 minutes. However, for the second time this season Legostaev scores outstanding goals. First, he equalized the score in the debut match of the Kudrovka Arena in the First League against Metalist 1925, and now again after coming on as a substitute! – scored the fourth goal against YUKSA. Victorious! An extremely important goal, allowing Kudrovka to move into third place and become the closest pursuer of the “crusaders”.
- SportArena statistics: 9 league matches, 2 goals.

In the Epicenter – Niva match, the team’s coaching staffs were racking their brains about how to replace the numerous absentees. It is logical that under such circumstances the youth came to the fore. Young striker Sidun opened the scoring for the Ternopil team and everything was heading towards the loudest sensation of the tour, but Bendery’s appearance helped the Kamenites save this difficult home match and continue their unbeaten streak at the Tonkocheev Stadium. It was Ivan who scored the return goal after S. Kristina’s pass, getting a strong-willed draw for the hosts, and generally reviving his team’s game
- SportArena statistics: 9 league matches, 1 goal, 2 assists.
There are goals that fans like. There are goals that are valued by professionals – those who tried to accomplish something similar with their feet. It’s not very often that you come across goals that suit the taste of both. This one is from the elite list. We quote the report: “In the 18th minute the score still became 0:2. Storchous passed to Korkishko on the flank, and Dmitry shot into the far top corner from an acute angle – 0:2. Fantastic performance and incredible goal!”
The goal can be seen in the video from 1:17

Read later on our website an interview with the player who scored a double in the victorious match with YUKSA.
- SportArena statistics: 8 league matches, 3 goals.
