The president of the All-Russian Swimming Federation (RSF), Vladimir Salnikov, announced to on Tuesday his intention to create a united federation. It is planned that the new united federation will include the All-Russian Swimming Federation (RSF), the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation, the Russian Diving Federation and the Russian Water Polo Federation.
The presidium of the FSM was the first to vote for membership in the united federation; this week the presidiums of the remaining federations met and also voted for membership.
Elections for the leadership of the United Federation will take place on October 31 in Moscow.
