Bogachuk will fight Madrimov on the undercard of the second fight between Usik and Fury

The full list of fights for the boxing evening in Riyadh on December 21 has become known

The full list of participants in the boxing show for the second fight of the WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC heavyweight world champion has become known Alexandra Usika (22-0, 14 KOs) and holder of the WBC heavyweight title Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

One of the card participants will be a Ukrainian Sergei Bogachuk (24-2, 23 KOs), who will fight with the former world junior middleweight champion from Uzbekistan Israil Madrimov (10-0-2, 7 KOs). It was previously reported that the parties were negotiating a fight.

Bogachuk lost to Virgil Ortiz by split decision in his last fight. In the first and eighth rounds, Bogachuk knocked down his opponent. However, after 12 rounds, one judge recorded a draw, the other two gave preference to Ortiz.

Let us remember that on the night of May 18-19, Usik inflicted the first defeat in his professional career on Tyson Fury in a fight that took place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The victory was awarded to the Ukrainian by a split decision: 115-112, 113-114 and 114-113.

An agreement has been concluded between Usik and Fury for a re-fight. The “Gypsy King” has officially activated the rematch option. The second fight between Alexander and Tyson will take place on December 21, 2024 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said he would seek the introduction of video replays in this fight. Oleksandr Usyk will prepare for the rematch in a training camp in Valencia. Tyson Fury said he will begin training six to seven weeks before the fight.
