Swimming world record holder Evgenia Chikunova confirmed that she was not among the three Russian athletes who requested neutral status at World Aquatics.
Earlier, the FSM announced that swimmers would begin enjoying neutral status ahead of December’s world championships in Budapest. FSM President Vladimir Salnikov said that so far three athletes had applied for the status and two of them had been granted it.
