The Manchester City forward scored a brace in the match with Slovenia, scoring his 34th goal for the national team

Manchester City forward Erling Holland became top scorer in history Norway national team.

Erling scored a double in the match with Slovenia (3:0) in the third round of the 2024/25 Nations League in Division B. Haaland scored 34 goals, for which he needed 36 matches.

The forward surpassed Jorgen Juve, who played in the 1920s and 30s, in the list of top scorers in Norwegian history. The 1936 Olympic bronze medalist needed 45 matches to score 33 goals for the national team.

The Norwegian team scored 7 points and leads Group 3 of Division B of the Nations League. In the next match, Haaland’s team will play away against Austria on October 13.
