The defender was invited by his former Real Madrid teammate Fernando Gago
Spanish defender Sergio Ramos is considering the option of moving to Boca Juniors.
Ramos has remained a free agent since the summer. It is reported that the option with the Argentine club was offered to him by his former Real Madrid teammate Fernando Gago, who is a graduate of Boca.
The 38-year-old player’s last club was Seville. It was previously reported that Juventus, which is looking for a replacement for the injured Bremer, is interested in the Spaniard.
Back in the spring, it was reported that a number of clubs from Saudi Arabia, MLS, Japan and Turkey were vying for the player. In particular, Inter Miami, for which Ukrainian Sergei Krivtsov plays, showed interest in signing Ramos. Recently, a new challenger has appeared for Sergio Ramos – the Brazilian Vasco da Gama.
Also, the president of the Mexican Monterrey, Papa Noriega, said that the club planned to sign Ramos, however, he failed to pass the quota of foreign players.
Clubs from Saudi Arabia and MLS applied for the defender. Another option for Ramos was the Egyptian Zamalek.
