Blancos coach contract expires in 2024
Mentor Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti announced that he would complete his coaching careerwhen his time at the Madrid club comes to an end.
“The Real Madrid stage will end my career. After Blancos I will stop. Real Madrid is the pinnacle of football. After such an experience, it makes sense to finish.”
“Time has changed some dynamics. A few years ago, the priorities were technical and tactical. Now I am conquered by human relationships, meeting people, confronting a new generation, ”said the coach.
Ancelotti began his coaching career in 1992 when he became Arrigo Sacchi’s assistant with the Italian national team. Subsequently, the mentor led Reggiana, Parma, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Napoli, Everton and Real Madrid.
The mentor re-led the Madrid club in the summer of 2021. The coach’s current contract with Blancos expires in 2024.
Ancelotti has won titles in all five top European championships – Italy, Germany, France, England, Spain. The mentor won the Champions League four times – twice with Milan and Real Madrid. Under his leadership, in 2003, the main European club trophy was won by the Ukrainian forward Andriy Shevchenko with Milan.
Real Madrid beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the last match and won the UEFA Super Cup (2:0). Ancelotti’s team starts in the Example on August 14 with a match against Almeria.
