Brusnikina: “Pozdnyakov had difficulty managing the ROC”

President of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation Olga Brusnikina thanked the president Russian Olympic Committee (OCD) Stanislav Pozdnyakov for his work in office and expressed hope for more fruitful cooperation with the new leadership of the organization.

Pozdnyakov announced on Tuesday his intention to leave the post of head of the ROC, which he has held since May 2018. On November 7, the ROC executive committee will set the date of the Olympic meeting for holding early elections.

Despite all this, the Russian Olympic Committee, under the leadership of Stanislav Alekseevich, launched and implemented many projects and programs aimed at forming the Olympic reserve.

The Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation works closely with the ROC on various programs and in all areas we feel support for our initiatives. For this, I would like to personally express my gratitude to Stanislav Alekseevich. I hope that with the arrival of the new leader, we will continue close cooperation in the implementation of our plans,” Brusnikina told .
