Russian figure skaters have been suspended from participating in tournaments under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU) since 2022.
— What are your immediate goals or dreams?
“Now we are going through a difficult period, we are not participating in competitions and the Olympic Games are approaching. Of course, we will be allowed, I am sure, but without playing for several years, even the habit of us, our participants, is lost. They have the inner strength to enjoy their baggage and not miss the main thing,” Tarasova said in Roman Kostomarov’s podcast in “Heart to Heart” on Rutube.
The Winter Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo from February 6 to 22, 2026.
