Medalist at the European Swimming Championships Anna Yegorova received neutral status from the International Aquatics Federation (World Aquatics) to participate in international competitions.
Egorova is among three athletes announced by the All-Russian Swimming Federation as the first group of swimmers who will compete in neutral status at upcoming international competitions with a view to participating in the short course world championships in Budapest in December.
Earlier, World Aquatics also confirmed that Russian champion Ivan Kozhakin had received neutral status.
The FINA World Aquatics Championships will be held in Singapore from July 11 to August 3, 2025.
