Olympic cross-country ski champion Alexander Legkov told that Veronica Stepanova actively participates in the promotion of his sport in the media and he himself is ready to help if necessary.
Stepanova is a columnist for the website. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, the athlete won gold in the relay. At the end of last season, Stepanova won the overall ranking of the Russian Cup, and also became the best in the long-distance race standings.

— What can you say about the development of skiing in Russia from a media point of view? Does anything need to be changed?
— Our media engine is Veronica Stepanova. If we talk about the result, then it is visually stronger in skiing than in biathlon. We have really strong athletes. Skiing is promoted in the media just as much as biathlon. We have Veronica Stepanova, who works in this area. We will be happy to support it.
