Imad Ashur’s team lost points in the match with one of the championship outsiders
The match of the 10th round of the UPL took place in Zhitomir – Polesie couldn’t beat at home Left Bank (0:0).
For Polesie this misfire was the third in the current championship. Previously, Imad Ashur’s team played a draw against LNZ (1:1) and Ingulets (0:0), and won all other six matches. In the UPL standings, the Zhytomyr club is now in 3rd place.
Left Bank again failed to score – in 8 out of 10 UPL matches, the Kiev team left the field without scoring a goal. However, Vitaly Pervak’s team has 8 points – he has two goalless draws (in addition to Polesie, there was a 0:0 with Kolos) and victories over Veres (3:1) and Chernomorets (1:0). The newcomer to the elite division is located in the play-off zone – in 14th position in the tournament table.
In the next round of the UPL, Polesie will host Kolos at home on October 25, and Left Bank will play against Zorya at home on October 27.
