Short-handed Milan win at home against Udinese

The Rossoneri were shorthanded from the 29th minute after Tijani Reynders was sent off

The match of the 8th round of Serie A took place – Milan won at home Udinese (1:0).

The only goal was scored in the 13th minute of the game – Nigerian Rossoneri winger Samuel Chukwueze scored for the first time this season.

From the 29th minute, Milan played in the minority – midfielder Tijani Reynders received a straight red card. Christian Kabasele equalized in the sixth minute of stoppage time in the second half, but after a VAR review the goal was overturned, and the San Siro stands breathed a sigh of relief.

As a result, Milan now has 13 points – it is in third place in the standings. Udinese has 13 points – after an excellent start to the season, the Friulians have slowed down a bit and are now sixth.

Udinese will play its next Serie A match on October 25 at home against Cagliari, and Milan will visit Bologna on October 26. But before that, Fonseca’s team faces a game against Brugge in the Champions League, which will take place on Tuesday, October 22.
