Alexander Zakhozhy will defend his EBU European Championship title
Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Alexander Zakhozhy (19-0, 15 KOs) will defend his EBU European title against the Swiss Arnold Grzherzhai (38-3, 27 KOs).
The fight will take place on November 23 in Heidelberg, Germany. The undercard will feature a fight for the WBC, WBA, WBO and The Ring world champion belts in women’s boxing between German representative Tina Rupprecht and Japanese Eri Matsuda.
Let us remind you that Zakhozhy won his EBU European heavyweight champion title in April 2024, defeating the German Granit Shalu in the title fight. Before this, the Ukrainian fought in March 2023, knocking out German Muhammad Ali Durmaz.
Zahozhiy was also previously part of former UFC champion Francis Ngannou’s training camp, helping him prepare for fights against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
