Aliyev: The whole country wants Milevsky and I to make peace. Perhaps they deliberately made this match in the Media League

Former best friends had a falling out a few months ago

Former midfielder of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team Alexander Aliev shared his expectations from the Media League match PROFANIGNISwhere his likely opponent could be his former best friend Artem Milevsky.

“Will I shake Milevsky’s hand? If we go out onto the field together and the teams greet each other, then, of course, I’ll shake hands. I’m not some kind of bastard. I always treat everyone humanely on the football field. And behind the football field, this is our personal life.”

“Will I forgive Milevsky if he apologizes to me? Time will show. The whole country wants us to make peace. Perhaps they made this match on purpose so that I could play for PROFAN.”

The long-term friendship between the two ex-Dynamo players cracked a few months ago. Milevsky was publicly offended by Aliyev for making public information about Artem’s health condition when he was admitted to the clinic last fall due to problems with alcohol. In response, Alexander completely broke off relations with his former friend.

Earlier it became known that 39-year-old Aliyev became a player of the PROFAN media football club. This team will play the next match within the Media League against the IGNIS club, whose colors Milevsky defends. The meeting will take place on October 23 in Kyiv at the Viktor Bannikov Stadium. Start – at 12:15.

In addition to Dynamo, Aliyev previously played for Dnepr, Zaporozhye Metallurg, Russian Lokomotiv and Anzhi. The ex-midfielder played 28 matches in the Ukrainian national team jersey, scoring 6 goals.

Aliyev has not played professionally since 2016. Subsequently, he played for amateur teams (Sturm and Khmelnitsky). Playing for PROFAN will be Aliyev’s first experience of performing in media football.

Milevsky announced the end of his professional football career in September 2021. Artem’s last club was Minaj (10 matches in the second half of the 2020/21 season).
