The Parisian leadership considers the 25-year-old Moroccan one of the key players for a long-term project
Paris Saint-Germain close to concluding a new contract with the defender Ashraf Hakimi. Negotiations are at the final stage – reportedly, the player’s salary and the duration of the contract have almost been agreed upon.
The start of negotiations between the club and the Moroccan full-back was reported back in September. The Parisian leadership, as it was said, considers the 25-year-old lateral one of the key players for a long-term project.
Hakimi became a PSG player in the summer of 2021, signing an agreement with the club until the end of June 2026. The French giants paid Inter 68 million euros for the defender’s transfer.
This season, Achraf has played in eight matches for PSG, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists. In the summer, Hakimi became a bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris as part of the Moroccan national team.
Earlier today it became known that the Parisians are also working on a long-term contract for another flanker – Portuguese Nuno Mendes.
PSG led Ligue 1 following the results of the last round, ahead of Monaco in additional indicators. Tomorrow, October 22, PSG will host PSV in the Champions League, and on Sunday they will meet Marseille away in the championship match.
