The Ukrainian subsequently expects to get a title shot
Ukrainian featherweight boxer Arnold Khegai (22-1-1, 14 KOs) said that he will hold his next fight in the USA in early 2025. The Ukrainian also expects to subsequently receive a title fight.
“The fight is planned for early next year in the USA, the opponent is not yet known. There will be a title fight, but I don’t know exactly when.”
“I’m ready for any champion in my division. At the championship level, in principle, all fighters are unsafe.”
Khegay had his last fight in August with Colombian Belmar Preciado. The Ukrainian had an overwhelming advantage, and after the eighth round the Colombian’s team refused to continue the fight.
Previously, the Ukrainian stated that the fight with Preciado is one of the steps towards a championship fight and expressed the hope of boxing with Rafael Espinosa for the WBO title.
