Figure skater Diane Davis do ice dancing with Gleb Smolkin, wrote on social networks that she had a positive start to the season after finishing fourth in the Grand Prix of Allen (USA).
On Sunday, Georgians Davis and Smolkin finished fourth in the Allen tournament with 187.05 points. After the rhythm dance, the former Russian figure skaters took third place.
– We are so proud of each other. It was a great way to start the season. We thank the Montreal Ice Academy and all the coaches. Many thanks also to our loved ones and the Georgian Figure Skating Federation,” Davis wrote.
Davis is the daughter of prominent Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze.
The second stage of the Grand Prix will be held in Halifax, Canada, from October 25 to 27.
