The Ukrainian got into a fiery shape ahead of the rematch with Joshua.
WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will fight Anthony Joshua for the second time.
Egis Klimas, manager of the Ukrainian WBA, WBO and IBF title holder, shared the details of the preparations for the fight with the British.
“Just came back from Dubai yesterday where a training camp ended. Usyk is ready. It’s hard to say what’s going on in his head, but he’s very strong, training hard – swim 10 kilometers, ride 100 kilometers in a bicycle, spend 4 minutes under water and 40 seconds without air”.

Klimas shared his expectations from the boxers’ rematch.
“It’s hard to say if Joshua will be more dangerous. The ring will show everything. I’m sure Joshua studied Usyk. They’ve shared the ring for 12 rounds. They know each other. It will be interesting. I never give predictions, but I hope that this time, Usyk stops Joshua,” Klimas said in an interview on the iFL TV YouTube channel.
It will be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena. In the first match, which took place in September 2021, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.
Former undefeated boxer Joe Joyce compared Alexander to Mike Tyson.
