The head coach of the Russian national diving team, Svetlana Moiseeva, told that she had no doubts about the legitimacy of the meeting aimed at changing the leadership of the Diving Federation of the region Moscow.

On Monday, October 21, a meeting of members of the Moscow Region Diving Federation was held to elect a new leader. During the meeting, the participants decided to dismiss the president of the federation, Eduard Feoktistov, due to loss of confidence. Feoktistov and the Russian Diving Federation do not recognize this meeting as legitimate and emphasize that it took place at the initiative of the head coach of the Russian national team, Svetlana Moiseeva.

“Everyone completely understands the situation I have been working in these days. Everyone on the team knows what’s happening and why. There is no doubt that the meeting was legitimate; there is relevant evidence. I wouldn’t want to talk about the rest now, now the discussion goes to another level,” Moiseeva told .

Earlier, the President of the Russian Diving Federation, Stanislav Druzhinin, told that law enforcement agencies would resolve the situation by organizing a conference aimed at changing the leadership of the Moscow Region Diving Federation. He also called the meeting “an attempted raider takeover of the federation.”
